ExcellenceONE PROGRAM KICK-OFF IN VILLA SANTA LUCIA

On April, RDM Group ExcellenceONE program has been kicked-off in Villa Santa Lucia!

Enzo Pelle, Head of Operations WLC Italy and Villa Santa Lucia, Massimo Fatiga, Deputy Lean Manager, supported by Enrico Cesarotto and Maria Grazia Pace, Santa Giustina and Villa Santa Lucia Mills Lean Mangers, presented the program to the Mill, showing a tailored and customized Lean Manufacturing Program dedicated to Villa Santa Lucia.

The target is to deploy improvements following Lean methodologies and disciplines along all operative processes, following priorities of the Mill and referring to all internal capabilities.

 

A tailored and customized Lean Manufacturing Program dedicated to Villa Santa Lucia, designed to have theoretical training and practical experiences to maximise the knowledge of people involved. All functions are going to take part, from managers to operatives, to the RDM ExcellenceONE, the lean improvement project.

 

During 2024, the focus will be dedicated to:

 

  • Time efficiency: reduction of Board Machine downtimes due to unplanned standstills;
  • Shop Floor Management: mill’s governance improvement, based on visual management;
  • 5S program: dedicated to workplaces, equipment and Operators; removing unsafe conditions and increasing the efficiency through standardization.
  • Improve material consumption.
