RDM GROUP AT THE PRO CARTON’S ECMA AWARD 2025

18-09-2025

RDM Group is proud to participate in the 2025 European Carton Excellence Award (ECEA), hosted by Pro Carton and the European Carton Makers Association (ECMA), which will be held on September 18th, 2025, in Istanbul, Turkey. This prestigious award invites partners from across the supply chain to showcase their most innovative cartonboard packaging designs.

Two projects made with RDM Group cartonboard have been shortlisted for this year’s awards, and we eagerly await the results. Our participation in this annual event is both natural and significant, with Michele Bianchi, President of Pro Carton and CEO of RDM Group, in attendance to reinforce our shared commitment to the industry. As he noted: “The Pro Carton and ECMA Awards are the leading showcase of our industry’s strength – where innovation meets sustainability, and creativity is matched by responsibility. Each year, these awards grow in prominence, inspiring not only our industry and its customers but also the wider public.”

RDM Group is also proud to sponsor the Pro Carton Young Designers Award, supporting the next generation of talent shaping the future of European packaging. Their projects demonstrate that sustainability is no longer a goal but the baseline, and that creativity and circular thinking are inseparable.

The ECEA highlights and celebrates outstanding achievements in packaging that combine functionality with aesthetic appeal, demonstrating excellence in the field. Each year, partners from across Europe push the boundaries of what cartonboard and folding cartons can achieve through ingenuity and creativity.

This event, organized on the occasion of the annual ECMA congress, which is also held in the Turkish capital from September 17th to 20th, clearly demonstrates how designers and converters are redefining cartonboard packaging.
