PRO CARTON “CARBON FOOTPRINT OF CARTON PACKAGING 2023”

02-03-2023

It has finally been published the report from the Pro Carton Carbon Footprint of Carton Packaging 2023 study.

It is great to see how our efforts and investments, to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to the industry’s environmental performance, deliver the right results. We particularly want to point out two great results for this year:

•           Our industry has reduced its carbon footprint by 24% since 2018 to 249 kgCO2e from cradle to grave per tons of cartons.

•        The cradle-to-gate carbon footprint is now only 148 kgCO2e per tonne of cartons.

The Executive Summary of the report is available at the following link: https://lnkd.in/dBUM4bfz
