Customer Technical Support (Villa Santa Lucia, Italy)

Role Mission:

Managing claims from customers.

Checking and diagnosing defects in our cartonboard, after (or before) dispatching evidence by our customers.

Providing input to improve process and cartonboard quality, giving directions to mills. He/she knows well mill production cycle as he/she is in charge of giving directions to solve quality problems.

Visiting customers in order to support the sales in the claim analysis and handling, supporting the sales representatives in the discussion with customers, in direct close cooperation with the relevant Regional TCS Manager.

Making qualification tests of carton board at customers production sites.

Support in giving suggestions to customer if the carton problems are due to or not efficient process of customer production.

Deal with customers concerning Quality and Service offered.

Keep a good update about competition and its qualitative benchmark.


Desired Skills and Experience

Key Requirements

  • University degree in Chemicals or equivalent
  • Cartonboard/liner printing/converting or equivalent work experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analytical skills and in dealing with figures

Seniority Level

Minimum 5 years in the role – paper industry experience and/or experience in board printing/converting is essential
