Parmareggio by Granterre, close-loop, made with own carton for recycling
Cartonboard Manufacturer: RDM Group
Carton Converter: Artigrafiche Reggiane
Three companies, GranTerre, AGR, and RDM Group, decided to team up to close the loop on circularity. RDM Group is the producer of recycled cartonboard who was provided with waste materials coming from the same value chain and literally the same product that is on the market. Then, the own source paper for recycling (which otherwise would become a waste/PfR) was recycled again into a new product and a new cartonboard was made with 25% own waste from the brand packaging and 90% of recycled content in total.
The campaign is promoting circularity at the local level and driving the awareness and education at the early stages of social responsibility, as part of the “Back to School” campaign. A genuine demonstration of taking ownership of recycling of own packaging waste. Needless to say, the cartonboard product is FSC-certified and “Class A” recyclable.

The new multipack for Míša cheesecake desserts brings a family pack to the market, which is not only cost-effective for the consumer but also emphasizes sustainability, as it is made of RDM Group’s 100% recycled and recyclable cartonboard.
The hotmelt applied on the bottom part, covered with a silicone strip, facilitates subsequent assembling during the final packaging of the products. The finished carrier can hold up to four cheesecakes, making it easy to handle when purchasing larger quantities. Short messages within the traditional graphics guide consumers to sort waste correctly and thus also have an educational function.
Union Mels – Butter Cookies

The customer was looking for differentiated packaging for their Halloween cookies campaign that would appeal to families and differentiate at the point of sale. They wanted also to offer users the possibility of collecting the packs. Finally, it is worth mentioning that they had specific dimensions that had to be met for logistical and product capacity reasons.
The solution designed is five types of original and eye-catching packaging, each representing a characteristic Halloween element. The most remarkable thing about the product is how each of the packs has the format of its design, standing out from the rest of the products on the market, and inciting to collect the different models.
