RDM GROUP WINS THE “PLATINUM AWARD” AT THE EUROPEAN CARTON EXCELLENCE AWARD 2021

07-09-2021

During the “2021 Carton Awards E-vent”, which took place on 6th September 2021, the winners of one of the most important prizes in Europe for cartonboard packaging have been announced.

The winning entry is the “Bonduelle Bundle”, realized together with Van Genechten Packaging. This solution removes plastic overwrap from Bonduelle’s 3 cans pack and replaces that with recycled and recyclable cartonboard material. The minimal pack design uses 30% less cartonboard than a classic wrap-around pack, 20% less ink and enables the consumer to see more of the product. The bundle pack can be adapted to different sizes and numbers of cans.

The European Carton Excellence Award is Europe’s most prestigious award for cartonboard packaging. Cartonboard is a perfect example of the circular economy, being renewable, recyclable and ecological.
