Improving our product portfolio translates to more renewable, recyclable, and recycled solutions that align with our sustainability goals and meet the demand for more conscious consumer choices.
One focus of our product innovation is investing in the development of new barrier solutions that are fully integrated with the fiber-based material structure of cartonboard. While research is still being conducted to find bio-based solutions, there are a range of options available to develop sustainable barrier coatings.
We are also improving our “board recipe” to create more lightweight cartonboard, reducing thus the amount of resources used and the emissions related to transportation.

WLC (White Lined Chipboard)
Coated cartonboard for packaging made of recycled fibers. RDM Group is the leading producer in the recycled cartonboard business and the largest producer in Italy, France, the Netherlands and in the Iberian Peninsula.
