Job description:
RDM is looking for an Electric Maintenance Manager (with high competencies in Energy activities) to join the Maintenance Team based in the mill in Ovaro.
Electric Maintenance:
He/She in accordance with the efficiency objectives (output quantity and quality, electric and tool maintenance costs, and related matters) sent by the Technical Manager, is responsible for the efficiency of production units, power plant and auxiliary services, while respecting budget returns and costs. They plan and coordinate maintenance tasks to reach the efficiency objectives set by the Management, by checking the quality of materials and of the execution of installation works.
Energy:
He/she is also responsible for monitoring, controlling and optimizing energy-related topics. He/she has the task of implementing energy efficiency research on the mill and of applying Group energy strategies at the mill level, in agreement and collaboration with the mill management.
He/she reports directly to the mill Technical Manager and works closely with the Group Technical Energy Manager.
Accountabilities:
- He/She analyzes the performance indicators of units and tools in electric and instrumental-electric areas;
- He/She makes the necessary decisions for correct planning of maintenance tasks and carrying out new investments;
- He/She works closely with the Technical Manager, the Production Dep. Manager, the Laboratory Manager, and the Finishing Manager to optimize units and machines in the department;
- He/She is responsible for the relationship with technical-unit-related suppliers and for constantly assessing their competence in the service allocated to them and the quality level of the tasks they performed;
- He/She collaborates with the mill Procurement staff in identifying and pre-qualifying suppliers;
- He/She is accountable for maintenance costs, for optimizing electrical and instrumental-electrical maintenance-related costs;
- He/She is responsible for the management system of energy efficiency ISO 50001 and of the power plant in the mill;
- He/She coordinates and suggests power energy improvement activities in accordance with the Technical Manager, the Group Technical Energy Manager and the Mill Management;
- He/She supplies energy performance data of the purchased items to the Purchasing Department. He/She supplies the mill energy performance data to central functions;
- He/She defines with the reference team the efficiency target of the machines and process, to guarantee maintenance process conformity, product quality and machine efficiency. He/She makes sure that their team share and are assessed on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001 mill targets;
- He/She applies a continuous audit of the process he/she is accountable for, also by means of benchmarking with other mills, to optimize the maintenance costs and make the whole process (scheduled and extraordinary maintenance) more efficient;
- He/She ensures the quality standards expected by maintenance efficiency to limit plant downtimes.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (electric-electronic-mechatronic field);
- Around 3-4 years in maintenance department in papermaking/board firms, of which at least 3 as manager of electrical or CTE department;
- Solid professional skills in the energy field;
- Good knowledge of English. Another European language is a preferred;
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence others;
- Excellent Problem-solving capabilities and skills, flexibility;
- Hands-on attitude and strong execution skills;
- Ability to structure, prioritize and organize work across functions.
