RDM Group is looking for Tax Manager to join the Admin & Finance department based in HQ, Milan.
The Tax Manager, as member of Finance Team, is responsible for overseeing the tax preparation process, ensuring that all tax-related issues are handled in a timely and accurate manner, from internal client consultations to final filings.
The Tax Manager is in charge of overseeing the tax strategy and policies for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review the preparation and submission of tax computations for Italian entities and the Group tax consolidation.
- Coordinate and manage local tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Handle ongoing tax proceedings and litigations, including MAP/APA, local tax audits, and responses to official requests or questionnaires in coordination with external advisors and legal counsel.
- Review tax computations and filings of foreign subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee VAT aspects of the Group’s active and passive invoicing processes.
- Monitor and manage Italian and foreign VAT positions of Group legal entities, supervising periodic VAT declarations and ensure correct application of VAT across the Group.
- Manage all tax payment activities, including withholding taxes and other related obligations (e.g. beneficial owner declarations, tax residency certificates).
- Supervise transfer pricing matters and prepare compliant transfer pricing
- Provide tax advisory support to other functions, including transfer pricing, customs, and customer/agency agreements.
- Oversee the management of tax incentives, R&D tax credits, Patent Box regimes, and overall cash tax governance.
- Supervise Pillar 2 computation, ETR/safe harbour monitoring, and local notification compliance.
Requirements:
- Economics degree or equivalent cultural
- 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in a Tax Advisory Firms;
- Knowlege of national and international taxation and national and international accounting standars (IAS/IFRS)
- Knowledge international regulations concerning transfer price and ability to enact them
- Ability to assess the impact of changes in tax legislation and accounting standards on the company
- English is a must! Another European language is welcome;
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Excellent Problem-solving capabilities and skills, flexibility;
- Ability to structure, prioritize and organize work across functions.
