Plant Admin & Controlling Manager – Ovaro (UD), Italy

RDM Group is looking for a Plant Admin & Controlling Manager to join the team based in Ovaro.

 

The Plant Admin & Controlling Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate financial control and performance monitoring of the plant’s operations. Acting as a strategic business partner to the Plant Director and the Group FP&A team, this role drives cost transparency, supports decision-making through insightful analysis, and ensures compliance with corporate financial standards and timelines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting for the plant.
  • Monitor and analyze production costs, variances, and profitability drivers.
  • Support management decisions through data-driven insights and scenario analyses.
  • Ensure accurate month-end closings and compliance with Group policies.
  • Partner with operations to identify cost-reduction and efficiency opportunities.
  • Supervise Accounts Payable, Spare Parts Warehouse, Mill Purchasing Departments.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in industrial controlling or financial planning, in manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, cost accounting, budgeting & forecasting methods;
  • Proven experience with cost accounting, variance analysis, and budgeting in a plant environment.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel / data analysis tools.
  • Solid understanding of industrial processes and cost drivers.
  • Fluent in English.
