On the occasion of the 52nd Congress of the Italian paper Industry, RDM Group – in collaboration with Aticelca – promotes the first edition of the “Carta Tecnologia Futura” award to the best graduation thesis for the paper industry under the supervision of Ing. Paolo Culicchi.

At the opening of the Aticelca Congress – which will be focused on new technologies to enhance the use of fibers, improve process water management, digitalization and energy efficiency – the President of the Association Mr. Guido Burco will announce the “Carta Tecnologia Futura” award dedicated to the best degree theses on the paper and board industry discussed at Italian universities.

“RDM Group decided to support the “Carta Tecnologia Futura” award because it emphasizes important issues such as health and safety, sustainability and circular economy, which are topics absolutely in line with the values of the Group – is the statement of Michele Bianchi, RDM Group CEO, who also said he was “proud to be able to combine the initiative with the long and honored career of Mr. Culicchi, a man and a leader who was able to inspire many talents and young promises today at the head of important roles in the world paper industry. A heartfelt personal thank you goes out to him”. The Engineer then concluded: “In addition, we believe in the new generations and for this reason we are committed to the valorization of talents and skills”.

As a matter of fact, the goal of the Award is to increase the interest of young people, both undergraduates and graduates, in the disciplines and issues related to the paper industry to collect and disseminate scientific and technological material on paper and board production processes.
