INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY: A BINOMIAL THAT HAS THE NAME OF ULF TILLMAN IN RDM GROUP

12-06-2019

Ulf Tillman, who has a great experience in that function, was nominated Head of Innovation & Sustainability. This demonstrates the increasing importance of the role played by Sustainability in RDM Group.

Ulf has been Project Leader – Packaging Development, and Project Leader – Wood Supply & Forestry at Ikea, as well as Environmental Director at DS Smith and Director Energy, Environment, Health & Safety and Risk Management at SCA Packaging. He has also held positions as Research Engineer and Department Manager in R&D at SCA in the field of Environmental Technology and Paper Chemistry.

The packaging material sector is going through a phase of strong innovation, which concerns the design of the material as well as the identification of new uses and applications for conventional products. New developments and business approaches cannot work without a proper risk management and consistent approach of all environmental matters as well as safety matters. And Customers Support is no more just “claims managements”, but more and more a partnership relation focused on the understanding of needs.

Ulf Tillman’s entry demonstrates the leap forward by RDM Group in terms of Innovation, Sustainability and TCS.
