COMIECO’S PAPER WEEK BEGINS: A SEVEN-DAY PROGRAM DEDICATED TO THE RECYCLING OF PAPER AND BOARD

01-04-2022

From April 4 to 10, Comieco – the Italian Consortium for the recovery and recycling of fiber-based packaging – organizes a week of events dedicated to the collection and recycling of paper and board.

Paper and cartonboard are precious materials and separate collection is essential to feed a virtuous supply chain that transforms them into new resources for people, the environment and the economy. That’s why it’s important to know how the recycling of paper and board works.

To underline this, Comieco launches the second edition of the Paper Week: a week of free digital and in presence events designed to deepen various aspects related to the world of paper and cartonboard recycling, and show what happens when the fiber-based materials are correctly delivered for separate collection.

The week’s program includes initiatives such as Riciclo Aperto Virtuale, both for kids and adults, and the  Carta al Tesoro, a team game to inform about a proper recycling of paper and cartonboard.
