As part of the European Week for Sustainable Development and the European Heritage Days 2021, the ʺBar Des Memoiresʺ took place in Blendecques the 17th September to discuss about the future of paper industry.

The event represented an opportunity to discover the history of RDM Group mill in Blendecques. The plant was established in Aa Valley, which provides water and energy.

After having been the first industry in the years 1950 to 1975 in Audomarois, the strategy of RDM Blendecques is to be part of sustainable development with the reduction of the environmental impact (control of CO2 emissions, reduction of consumption of energy, water reprocessing, use of recycled material), health, safety, well-being at work.

These represent some of RDM Group’s most strong axes.
