4EVERGREEN ALLIANCE INVITES TO BE PART OF THE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE ABOUT THE CIRCULAR FUTURE OF PACKAGING

11-11-2021

The virtual conference “A Circular Future for Packaging: perfecting the circularity of fibre-based packaging together” will take place on Tuesday November 30 from 14.00 to 16.35 CET.

4Evergreen is an alliance aiming to perfecting the circularity of fibre-based packaging by raising its overall recycling rate to 90% by 2030. The alliance accounts for more than 80 members representing the entire fibre-based packaging value chain from waste collectors, chemical providers, manufacturers, recyclers to leading brands, RDM Group included.

At the event it will be addressed topics about the circularity across the Industry. The European Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan challenges industries to take ambitious action around climate and the environment, aiming at boosting an efficient use of resources by moving to a clean, circular economy and highlight the essential need to develop further sustainable and circular practices. Fibre-based packaging can contribute towards these goals of increased circularity, through the widespread use of renewable and re-usable raw materials.

The event will bring together 4evergreen members composed by industry representatives, consumer associations, and EU policymakers to discuss the goals, main achievements, and future developments of the alliance.

During the event, participants can learn more about 4evergreen scope, guidelines and goals. They will have the opportunity to raise challenges and provide feedbacks, too.

Register to the event here.
