Workplace safety

At RDM Group, we strive for a zero-accident workplace, aiming to create a safer and more comfortable environment for all.

We firmly believe that the success of our safety policies depends on the active involvement of all organizational levels in identifying and implementing the best operational and organizational practices. This collaborative approach not only strengthens leadership but fosters a widespread culture of health and safety across all RDM Group sites.

Continuous training and education are a cornerstone of our Health&Safety model. All employees undergo appropriate safety training – both general and job-specific – before starting any work activity and throughout their careers. This ensures that they are aware of potential risks associated with their job and possess the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and mitigate these risks. Training is regularly updated to comply with legal requirements, ensuring it remains relevant and effective.

Our “Behavior-Based Safety” (BBS) program

We encourage collaboration between workers and management to safeguard everyone's safety and well-being.

For this purpose, we have adopted the “Behavior-Based Safety” (BBS) program, which ensures proactive safety management at all organizational levels. The program marks a significant shift from traditional top-down safety policies and empowering employees to actively manage their own safety and that of their colleagues.

The BBS program involves the creation of safety checklists, specific training, and the engagement of local safety teams. Central to this methodology are peer-to-peer safety observations. Every employee actively participates in the risk assessment process by identifying risks associated with their tasks, recognizing dangerous habits and behaviors, and providing suggestions for preventive measures. This engagement is crucial for reaching the highest level of safety maturity.

RDM Group has implemented an Integrated Quality, Environment, Energy, and Safety Policy. Our safety management systems are organized according to the principles of ISO 45001, which provides a framework for managing occupational health and safety and helps the organization identify and control risks improving overall safety performance.
