Job description:
RDM Group is looking for the Mill Energy Manager to join our Mill located in Ovaro (UD)
The Mill Energy Manager is responsible for monitoring, controlling and optimizing energy-related topics. He/she has the task of implementing energy efficiency research on the mill and of applying Group Energy Strategies at the mill level, in agreement and collaboration with the mill management.
The Product Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for quality and finished product assessment; he/she is in charge of the mill laboratory and furthermore, he/she is the person of reference for certification Systems (ISO 9001, FSC and specific Ovaro Product certification) and guarantees the compliance with regulation standards.
The Mill Energy Manager reports to the Mill Director and dotted line to Corporate Energy Manager based in the Milan.
Accountabilities:
- Implement legislative changes (energy sector) during operation, monitor compliance
- External representation of the company in associations, events, …
- Cost efficiency, reporting
- Management system (cooperation for the energy sector)
- Develop contracts with energy suppliers tasks on the topics Din EN ISO 50001, energy workgroup, budget planning
- Electricity purchase, electricity sales, monthly billing gas and electricity, CO2
- Mutual exchange of information
Requirements:
- Academic Training as a Technician or Engineer
- At least 5 years holding the same roles
- Fluent in English
- High standards of business ethics and professional conduct
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Capacity to organize time and plan actions effectively so as to meet simultaneous deadlines;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Perseverance and results orientation.
