RDM GROUP INAUGURATES NEW STEAM GENERATOR AT SANTA GIUSTINA MILL

29-09-2022

The ceremony took place in the presence of local authorities, demonstrating the importance of the project.

Both the mill itself and the entire community of Santa Giustina will benefit from this remarkable investement. On one hand, Santa Giustina Mill will count on increased efficiency and technological reliability; on the other hand, the local community will enjoy a significant reduction in emissions. The project started in 2017 with the installation of a steam-powered electricity generator and then continued in 2021 and 2022 through the final replacement of the old boiler (1969) with a brand-new one.

“The installation of the new boiler represents an important investment for RDM Group, which has always made Sustainability its starting point” – is the comment of Michele Bianchi, CEO of RDM Group. “I thank all the employees of the Santa Giustina Mill who actively contributed to the installation of the boiler“ stated Massimo Marcer, Mill Manager.

This investment perfectly aligns with the increasingly urgent energy efficiency measures that RDM Group is implementing in all its sites to cope with rising energy prices.
