RDM GROUP AMONG THE 2022 WINNERS OF THE EUROPEAN CARTON EXCELLENCE AWARD

19-09-2022

During the 2022 ECMA Annual Congress, which took place on 15 and 16 September in Krakow, Poland, the winners of one of the most important prizes in Europe for cartonboard packaging have been announced.

This year, RDM Group and Lucaprint have been chosen as winners for the General Packaging – Recycled Fibre category with the “Fanton Power strip Relife” entry.

Relife is the new eco-sustainable line of Italian multi-sockets, made with certified recycled plastic material. The packaging highlights this concept by replacing classic plastic wrapping and using RDM Ovaro recycled cartonboard. It does not have a lining or coating, which fully highlights the sustainability credentials of the contents: a completely new mono-material case concept.

The European Carton Excellence Award is Europe’s most prestigious award for cartonboard packaging. Cartonboard is a perfect example of the circular economy, being renewable, recyclable and ecological.
