RELEASED THE NEW BOOKLET ABOUT MYTHS AND FACTS OF PRINT & PAPER BY TWO SIDES

18-12-2021

The new Myths & Facts booklet is characterized by a smart new design with updated facts on board and paper and the environment, from European forest growth and paper’s low energy consumption to the high recycling rate of board and paper and the circular economy.

According to the 2021 survey by Two Sides, the European paper industry is a world leader when it comes to sustainably sourced raw materials, renewable energy and recycling rates. However, the myths around paper are still prevalent amongst consumers.

The study revealed that 64% of European consumers believe European forests are shrinking when, in fact, they have been growing by an area equivalent to 1,500 football pitches every day. Indeed, the total volume of Europe’s forests is approximately 28 billion m³, a figure which is currently growing annually.

The new Booklet released by Two sides explains the 8 reasons showing how sustainable paper products really are and the most prevalent misconceptions among consumers.
