AN IMPORTANT BEHAVIORAL-BASED SAFETY PROJECT HAS BEEN LAUNCHED AT SANTA GIUSTINA

05-03-2021

Following the early training and design phases, the BBS (Behavior-Based Safety) pilot project has been officially launched at Santa Giustina Mill.

It is a Behavior-Based Safety system based on a scientific protocol that represents a milestone for the Group in the evolution of its safety system.

The process relies on observations of workers’ safety behaviours, carried out by the workers themselves, who have been properly trained. Then, these observations are analyzed and discussed together to increase the number of safe behaviors.

The promotion of safe behavior is the core principle of this system: the aim is to make the most of it by extending its principles to all the other plants in the Group.
