FULLY SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS ALIGNED WITH THE AMBITIONS OF ‘WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY’

05-06-2020

Today, 5th June 2020, is World Environment Day, the United Nations’ principal vehicle for raising awareness and action to protect our environment.

RDM Group and the pulp and paper industry are actively contributing to a more sustainable world: we transform paper for recycling into cartonboard again giving it a new lease of life. Our recycled cartonboard can be made into any shape through a continuous cycle in which many different actors play a role.

By focusing on poor raw materials, that are renewable, recyclable and actually recycled, we develop new fibre-based products and we coupled them with renewable barrier solutions to meet the market demands of high-quality, safe and low environmental impact products.

RDM Group is also aware that the world is currently going through a crucial phase characterized by numerous global challenges: everyone’s quality of life will depend on how these challenges are faced. In the past 10 years, we have also invested in engineering and technology upgrades to make our industrial processes more sustainable and efficient. The results published on the Sustainability Report 2019 support the direction taken by the Group.
