PAPER INDUSTRY AS A STRATEGIC SECTOR FOR THE COVID-19 RECOVERY PHASE

19-05-2020

During this critical time, the value of fibre-based materials has been recognized by many governments and retailers around the world as a key element to keep citizens supplied with essential products.

For this reason, during the first phase of the emergency, RDM Group and all its employees have worked hard to kept all facilities across Europe fully operational and to guarantee production continuity and customer service, in the most scrupulous respect of governmental provisions and Health Institutions’ recommendations.

Today, we will continue to do so: together with our customers and suppliers, we will spend all our energies to help citizens and society to go through the covid-19 recovery phase.

By its very nature, paper industry is a green and resilient sector, connected with food safety, hygiene, and information. A sector strongly linked to the development of local communities and predisposed to innovation and sustainability. As integrated part of this wider virtuous circular economy, RDM Group embraces greater responsibilities to society and environment and stands on the frontline to support communities to restart together.

Also during the phase of ease of the lockdown measures, RDM Group constantly monitors all scientific, medical and governmental sources to ensure that all our measures are compliant with current legislation and up to date with the latest international best practices to keep all its workers and partners in the safest conditions.
