CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY: RDM GROUP PROCEDURES UPDATE

17-03-2020

Following the last version of the Italian Prime Ministerial Decree, concerning the containment of the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, RDM Group production activities have not been affected and continue regularly.

All RDM Group facilities are still operative, as well as the administrative and commercial offices, that, via agile working methods, can guarantee the continuity of service. It is understood that all the Group’s activities will continue in strict compliance with WHO recommendations and ministerial measures, which have been already implemented by the Group, in all its sites.

In line with the RDM Group’s multi-mill concept, even if one of the sites should be involved in the contagion, the others – located in different areas of Europe (Italy, Spain, France and Germany) – could come in support, minimizing delays or difficulties, assuring deliveries and services to our customers.

RDM Group is also addressing potential issues related to logistical delays and border closures: thanks to stock levels, intermodal deliveries and the possibility to geographically differentiate all strategic purchases, production and transport continuity is assured.

RDM Group has revised its procedures related to employees and suppliers, especially hauliers, by providing them with further and more specific hygiene and health-related dispositions, and reminding them of the importance of complying with the provisions that prohibit people gatherings and recommend a 2 metres minimum distance between each person.

Work in safety is an essential Value for RDM Group: for this reason, the Group is doing its outmost to reduce any possible risk of Coronavirus contagion, by taking all necessary precautions and monitoring all legislative updates.

RDM Group is more than willing to provide more details about its provisions to all its stakeholders.
